A law graduate from Edinburgh University, Greg Somerville has been in journalism since 1999.
Greg learnt his skills while working out of Paris for Associated Press Television News (APTN), as a field producer, cameraman and project manager.
He covered major stories in France and abroad including French elections, the violent suburban and student riots, the terrorist attacks in Casablanca in 2003 and an earthquake near Tangiers.
He also worked for APTN Broadcast Services, organising live coverage of special events for international clients and setting up a client studio facility in Paris.
More recently he worked for France 24, France’s new 24-hour global news channel as a bilingual journalist editing, scripting and voicing news packages in English and French.
Greg is a British/French dual national, bilingual in both languages and fluent in Spanish.
